Railbookers Group President and CEO Joins Group of Travel Industry Leaders
April 3, 2025—Railbookers Group President and CEO Frank Marini has been appointed to the U.S. Travel and Tourism Board, beginning a two-year term in 2025. The board represents the travel industry and serves as advisors to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. It is comprised of 32 individuals from a wide spectrum of companies and organizations that make up a cross-section of the travel industry.
“I am honored to serve the country and fellow travel industry leaders in this important role,” said Marini. “As our company continues to expand globally, we are proud to showcase the United States to travelers from around the world, particularly with the upcoming World Cup in 2026 and Summer Olympics in 2028. I am eager to get started and share the perspective of Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations among this group of highly venerated individuals.”
The U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board (TTAB) serves as the advisory body to the Secretary of Commerce (Secretary) on matters relating to the travel and tourism industry in the United States. The TTAB:

- Advises the Secretary on government policies and programs that affect the U.S. travel and tourism industry,
- Offers counsel on current and emerging issues, and
- Provides a forum for discussing and proposing solutions to industry-related problems.
The TTAB is a congressionally mandated federal advisory board comprised of up to thirty-two members appointed by the Secretary. Members represent companies and organizations in the travel and tourism industry from a wide range of products and services, company sizes, and geographic locations.
