Industry veteran brings more than 30 years of experience

MAY 12, 2026 – Railbookers Group, the leading provider of independent rail-based vacations worldwide, has announced the addition of longtime travel industry leader Doug Johnson as Vice President of U.S. Sales.

In this newly created role, Johnson will lead RBG’s business development team in the United States, supporting and developing the company’s relationships with travel advisors and consortiums.

Johnson brings more than 30 years of travel industry experience to the Railbookers team, having worked with leading tour and rail operators throughout his career. He has held senior roles in Sales Leadership, Business Development, and Key Account Partnerships, recently spending nine years leading the Rocky Mountaineer U.S. Sales team through a period of sustained double-digit growth and market expansion.

Johnson is a New England native who resides in Central Massachusetts.
